Trust & Safety

[Your Company Name] operates StreamHub (the "Platform"). Safety, privacy, and trust are central to how we run this Platform, and we devote ongoing resources to keeping illegal and abusive content off of it, including non-consensual material and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
1. Our Governing Documents
- Terms of Service / User Agreement
- Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy
- DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy
- Parental Controls information page
2. Content Upload Requires Verification
Only verified users may upload content to the Platform. Verification combines automated identity-checking tools with manual review, and includes:
- Account registration with a valid email address;
- Submission of a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie check through a third-party identity verification provider;
- Confirmation that the uploader is 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher);
- For content depicting other people, retention of appropriate consent and identification records for each participant, consistent with 18 U.S.C. §2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 recordkeeping requirements where applicable;
- Manual review by our moderation team before an account is granted upload privileges.
3. Content Moderation
Before publication, uploaded content is reviewed against our internal content standards, checked using automated detection tools (including hash-matching against known-bad-content databases), and confirmed to include any required consent/identification documentation.
After publication, users can report content they believe violates our standards using an in-page report/flag option or our general contact form. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and content found to violate our standards is removed. We aim to resolve reports within a reasonable period, typically within seven (7) business days, extending as needed for complex cases.
Anyone depicted in content who believes it was posted without their consent may request removal and may appeal a decision they disagree with.
4. Technical Safeguards
- Automated keyword screening of titles, descriptions, and search terms against a continuously updated list of prohibited terms;
- Hash-matching technology to detect known illegal or previously-removed content upon upload, preventing re-upload;
- AI-assisted content classification to flag likely policy violations for human review;
- "Restricted to Adults" (RTA) labeling on all pages to support parental control software;
- No general content-download functionality, to reduce redistribution risk.
5. Reporting Illegal Content
If you encounter content you believe is illegal, non-consensual, or involves a minor, please use the report option on the relevant page or our general contact form and select the appropriate category. We treat reports involving apparent CSAM or non-consensual content as highest priority and remove such material immediately upon confirmation, reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by 18 U.S.C. §2258A.
6. Ongoing Commitment
We regularly review and improve our moderation staffing, tooling, and procedures. This page may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law.
